I grew up in America, and studied engineering, but decided to switch career paths to Education after working for an educational conservation non-profit on the island of Curaçao. I have been living in the Netherlands since 2011, and work as a physics and chemistry teacher at the Amsterdam International Community School. I enjoy traveling, camping, and cycling. I dislike running and buckwheat. I joined the trips with InSite to both Pretoria and Enkanini in 2012 and 2013 and found it to be an invaluable experience for the students. I think it’s incredible to see them apply skills they have learned with InSite to solve problems and work in a completely foreign environment.
