Our next pilot initiatives will begin on February11 at Cabrillo Village for at risk youth. On February 12 we return to TheLighthouse in Oxnard where we continue to work with women in recovery. AllJanuary we have been preparing for each of our initiatives, both in Amsterdamand California. Early in the month Lynne Farrow trained Shawna Snow and ourVentura County art process mentors in process art making. We filmed thistraining for training future global Reckoning leaders.

The round of initiatives begins with severaladvantages:

1.We have established a friendship with the youth in Cabrillo Village and thewomen at The Lighthouse. All of us are looking forward to learning through artprocess next month.

2.We have learned a great deal from our first pilot and are going to move deeperinto personal and social transformation as we apply all that we learned.

 Additionally, we are:

  • Seeking partnerships to expand our effectiveness in Cabrillo Village. Tune in next month to hear our progress.
  • Establishing our Reckoning "Spirited Team" (a.k.a. Board) to oversee the development of Reckoning in North America.
  • Deepening our leadership base in Ventura County so that we can begin other initiatives in the Ventura County vicinity.
  • Creating a sustainable servant-empowering leadership development training for those who will join Reckoning globally. We envision this as an introductory  one week intensive  training program. This is not to be confused with the ongoing training Shawna and Christine are continue to develop for our teams on the ground now in Amsterdam and Ventura County.
